“The East End is the future of Houston.”

That message was front and center in Chron’s recent feature on the East End, where Houston leaders pointed to the area’s growing role in the city’s future through housing, infrastructure, investment, small businesses, green spaces, and public spaces.

Our East End District President Veronica Chapa-Gorczynski shared: growth is already visible across the area, from new development to neighborhood spaces that make the East End more livable for all.

Thank you, Houston, and to the service members of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard for showing up, bringing the energy, and celebrating with us at .

From the first song to the final goodbye, this day belonged to all of you. Gracias for being part of it!

The stage may be quiet for now, but the East End spirit never goes out of season.

The US Navy and the US Marines have arrived! They are ready to enjoy the and Houston's warm welcome in the first stop ever in the city. Come by, say hi, and spend this Saturday with us.
