To my friends, partners, and the racing community,
After much thought and many long conversations with Monty Garrelts, Mike Garvin, Craig Caulk, and Red Robert, I have made the very difficult decision to step down from my role with both The Race of Honor and the Temple Harley Drags. With a full heart and a clear mind, I will be handing the reins over to Craig Caulk, who I trust will carry this legacy forward with the same passion and commitment.
This has not been an easy choice, because I love this sport more than words can truly express. Motorcycle drag racing has been more than just an event to meโit has been a calling, a family, and a purpose. I want to be very clear: I do not see this as a failure. I know in my heart that I gave everything I hadโ100% and then some. Every ounce of energy, every late night, every sacrifice was worth it, because it was all for the racers and the community that surrounds them.
To those who supported me genuinely along this journey, I cannot thank you enough. Your belief in me, and in what we were building together, meant the world and carried me through the hardest of times. You stood with me when it counted, and I will never forget that. To the racersโyou were always my why. You were the reason I fought so hard, pushed through, and never gave up. Seeing you out on the track, giving it your all, is what made it all worthwhile.
I would be lying if I said the road was always smooth. Not everyone had the same intentions, and yes, there were times when I felt the weight of schemes and shadows. But I release all of that with no hard feelings. At the end of the day, what matters is the racing, the legacy, and the friendships forged along the way.
As I step away from this leadership role, please know that my heart is still here. I will continue to support in any way I can, even if it looks a little different than before. This community and this sport will always be a part of me, and I will always be cheering you on from wherever I stand.
With respect, gratitude, and love,
Lauren Kribbs
Also note, I will still be hosting Motorcycle events and will be supporting individual Racers and Racers businesses. Let me know if you need help getting your name out there!
