FXBG Summer Track Series

FXBG Summer Track Series It is free and all are welcomed and encouraged to attend!

The Summer Track Series is a fun, family friendly event series hosted by FARC that takes place every Tuesday night from 6:00pm to 7:30pm From June 2, 2026 to July 28, 2026.

Here are some photos of our very cold but very fun Glow track night!!!! I wish we could do it in the summer but it gets dark waaayyyyy too late! But… we had lots of fun celebrating running and friends and St. Patty’s day! Thank you to the Ospreys for coming out with their amazing coaches and all the brave souls who came out to get some fun track time with us!!! A huge thanks the the Track Queens, Deb Jockin and Maxann Lockard for just really getting this thing running smoothly through our crazy weather! We had some fast times and PR’s and just a very successful event! See you all June 2 for our official Summer Track kickoff!!! This summer will be epic! Stay tuned 💪🏼🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

What an amazing and impressive group of individuals we have coming out to the track on Tuesdays!!! We had a fabulous time with some excellent performances❤️Next week will be our last week and it will be a party!!! Be prepared💪🏼A championship race series has been suggested and I think this is a perfect idea. We have been crushing the 400, 800 and 1600m like a compactor in a junkyard… let’s go all out. And for the heck of it… let’s do pick your own relay team. That was fun. Come early for sign up so we can get everything organized. Football has started and they are getting anxious for us to scoot. We can set up tents outside the track to celebrate after. Let’s make this the greatest track night yet!!!!!

We came, we ran, we kicked some track! Yes! Yes! yes! Wowza…. What a fabulous night at the track last night. 400m, 1600m and the DMR events went off like rockets! Our Fredericksburg Area Running Club pop up social brought out a few extra friends and fun was had by all! We had some amazing performances and really had a great time as a community 🥰 Two more meets left my friends! Directly following this post will be a poll for next week. Choose wisely… we are getting close to the grande finale!

Amazing evening at the track, for 2.5 events! We did have to cut it short when the lighting started striking but the 400m and the 1600m were a success! We will get more time for a relay another day:-) After we cleaned up, the lighting slowed its toll enough for a fun impromptu 5k for fun with friends ❤️ Join us next week for the 200m, 800m, 1600m and 400m with timing courtesy of Love Timing !!! I know 4 events is a lot, but weather hasn’t been cooperating well and let’s have some fun!!! See you next week!
