Hingham 4th of July Parade

Hingham 4th of July Parade The town of Hingham's most anticipated and best attended annual event! Years ago, when life was very different, Hingham customarily had no July 4 parade.

The Hingham July 4 parade has become the town's most anticipated and best attended annual event. Although July 4 parades were held in the post Revolutionary War period, there are no readily available records for the years prior to 1827, the first year of publication of the Hingham Journal (then called the Gazette). Whether as a child, a parent or both, we all can recollect wonderful, fond memories

of this patriotic and civic event. Many people are unaware that this event is totally underwritten by PRIVATE donations from businesses, organizations and from individuals. Please consider donating to offset the costs to operate this parade. Please make checks payable to:

More than just music, it’s community, connection, and bringing people together through song. 🎶

The love sharing their voices with the people of Hingham and being part of the moments that make this town feel like home. From rehearsals filled with laughter to performances that fill the room with energy, it’s about creating something meaningful together.

Proud to capture the passion behind the voices.
