When people walk through the doors of The Clover Table, they'll see beautiful tables, lighting, décor, and a space designed for gathering. What they won't see are the hundreds of little moments that brought it to life.
The paint samples. The furniture assembly. The lighting decisions. The endless checklists. The deliveries. The installations. The trips to the hardware store. The moments when things went exactly as planned... and the moments when they absolutely did not. 😄
What they also won't see are the incredible people behind the scenes. The family and friends who showed up with sleeves rolled up and tools in hand. The people who helped move things, build things, solve problems, offer encouragement, and remind me that somehow it would all come together.
Entrepreneurship is a funny thing. You start with a vision, spend months living in the trenches, and then one day you unlock the door and hope your community loves what you've created.
It's a lot of faith.
It's a lot of hard work.
And apparently, I'm just crazy enough to start a second business while running the first one. 😂
But looking through these photos, what I feel most is gratitude. Gratitude for every helping hand, every encouraging word, every late night, every prayer, and every person who believed in this dream long before it looked like a mahjong house.
I could write a book about each of these precious people, but I'll simply mention their names because they already know how eternally grateful I am for their sacrifice, support, encouragement, and love.
My husband Mike, my daughter Shannon, my son Luke, my dear friends Shelley, Shannon, Owen, and Elena—thank you for the countless hours, the helping hands, and for being the very best cheering section.
And to the many friends who shared our posts, sent texts, stopped by, prayed for us, or simply showed up with encouragement exactly when it was needed... thank you.
