We’re saddened to share that due to BLM funding changes, the 2026 Mustang Classic and Mustang Challenge will be canceled.

We know how disappointing and frustrating this is—especially for those who have already registered, adopted horses, or begun preparing. Please know we share in that disappointment, and we are truly sorry.

The good news is that Mustang Magic will continue as planned at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, and we hope it can still bring our community together in a meaningful way.

For our Adoption event November 1st and 2nd we will have haulers here going all directions. Mandy Duncan Texas, Zain Dumont Texas, Meg Magsig any direction, Aly Rattazzi Jones any direction, Cat Zimmerman Florida, Morris Florida Patty Forbes north east. If you want their phone numbers send us a message. If you want to be listed let us know.

The first 70 of our horses are now on the google list. 30 more will be added next week.

🚨 Exciting News for 2026! 🚨

The Mustang Challenge will now feature both Adult and Youth Divisions!

✨ Youth Division
• Ages 9–17 at the time of competition
• In-hand exhibition only
• A parent/guardian (or approved adult) must adopt/purchase a BLM mustang for the youth competitor

✨ Adult Division
• Ages 18+ at the time of competition
• Under saddle exhibition

This is an incredible opportunity for youth and adults alike to showcase their horsemanship, connect with America’s wild mustangs, and inspire the next generation of trainers and horsemen. 🐴

🐎 Mustang Challenge & Mustang Classic 2026 – Adoption Window Now Set!

The adoption eligibility window for the 2026 Mustang Challenge & Mustang Classic is October 1, 2025 – May 1, 2026. Mustangs adopted during this period will be eligible to compete.

📍 Tentative 2026 Schedule (pending BLM funding availability):
Mustang Challenge – Fort Worth, TX – August 2026
Mustang Classic – Lexington, KY – September 2026

✨ New for 2026: Both events will feature a Youth Division, giving more trainers than ever the chance to step into the spotlight.
