Two of the Coast Racers are flying past Clarkesville Ace Hardware. If you are in the Clarkesville area remember to look upšŸ˜. The balloons are not very high in the sky. The lower level winds have a better direction. Post pictures if you see the competitors.

The tentative weather forecast for Friday, June 5th is very similar to the Thursday forecast. Most balloons will probably stay inflated on the field providing access to spectators for up close visits with pilots & crew. All balloon events are weather dependent. We will have to wait to see what the weather actually isā€¦

What a wonderful static display this evening! The great part about the winds aloft going toward the national forest is the balloons donā€™t fly away & disappear from the field. The show for the spectators lasts for several hours instead of just a few minutes while the balloons fly quickly out of sight. Today has been a perfect day to see balloons up close.

This morning 6/4 lots of balloons were inflated & did a static display show for all the visitors. Several pilots offered tethered rides. This evening is shaping up to be just as beautiful for the spectators.

Wind direction is not favorable for flying tonight. - Pilots are beginning to inflate and will be tethering and doing static displays on the launch field! Come meet our pilots and take pictures! Tag us! Thank you!
