Heading to the festival tomorrow? Here’s an important travel note! 🚗

The Susquehanna River Running Festival will bring several morning road closures to Havre de Grace, including the Route 40/Hatem Bridge and portions of downtown.

There is easy access from Rt. 40 through Revolution Street prior to the event.

Most race-related closures are scheduled to end by 11 AM, with Commerce Street reopening around noon.

If you’re traveling from Cecil County or points north, plan to use I-95 instead of Route 40 and allow a little extra time. Please follow posted detours and directions from police officers when you arrive.
