About Miss International Hawaii and Miss International:
Miss International Hawaii has been an interview-only pageant and it was previously known as Miss Hawaii International. Under new directors, the pageant is now recognized as Miss International Hawaii, an international pageant.
Co-directors Meghan Akim and Courtney Coleman will bring the pageant live featuring four phases: cultural costume, swimsuit, evening gown, and the on-stage interview. The top 2 delegates competing for Miss International Hawaii will have exciting opportunities to compete for Miss International and Miss US International. Established in 1960, the Miss International Pageant is one of the “Big Four” international beauty pageants (Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Earth, and Miss International). It is also considered the fourth largest pageant in the world because of the significant number of international titleholders participating in the contest. Over 60+ participants globally will be in the running, but the titleholder from Hawai'i is always a strong competitor because of the deep connections between the Aloha State and Japan.
