❤️🤍💙 What a weekend. What a community. ❤️🤍💙
As we look back on the Harveysburg/Massie Township America's 250 Celebration, our hearts are full.
From the breathtaking flyover that kicked off the day to the parade filled with hometown pride and an incredible display of classic cars, every moment reminded us what makes this community so special.
Throughout the day, visitors enjoyed live music on the G & J Pepsi Stage, a delicious pig roast dinner, local shopping, and an amazing variety of food and beverage vendors. A special thank you to the Massie Township Fire Department for serving up hot dogs and walking tacos and helping keep everyone well fed.
As the sun set, neighbors and visitors gathered one last time to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the night sky—a fitting finale to a day dedicated to celebrating our nation, our history, and our community.
The celebration continued on Sunday as members of the community came together for a special church service in the Harveysburg Gymnasium. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our shared heritage, offer thanks, and look ahead with hope for the future.
One of the most memorable sights of all wasn't on the stage or along the parade route—it was throughout our town. Seeing so many homes decorated in red, white, and blue was truly humbling. Your patriotic spirit transformed Harveysburg into a community-wide celebration and reminded us that America's story is best told by the people who live it every day.
To our volunteers, sponsors, entertainers, vendors, first responders, committee members, churches, and everyone who attended—thank you. This celebration was made possible because of your generosity, dedication, and community pride.
While the event may be over, the memories we created together will last for years to come.
Here's to Harveysburg. Here's to Massie Township. And here's to the next 250 years. 🇺🇸
Thank you for celebrating with us.
