Rainbow Futures stock panel!

DM me if you have interest in a custom twin or keel template from this rainbow panel. I have stock prepared at 3° and 6° and can accommodate most keel and twin templates with varying foil options. 6oz silane and CLR with tints from

This set of twins is also available, please DM with interest. It is a new, more squat twin template(5” tall/5.4” base) with single foil and 6° cant.

Keep in mind that this panel is optimized for single/flat foil, and aesthetics will change if the foil is shifted. I have included visual examples of this on this post. I will recommend certain foils for certain fin types, but there are no rules to it and I am happy to accommodate any request.

is always down to get weird. So when he came to me saying he wanted to see what would happen when we mashed together the Upsetter and Flowthru templates, I knew exactly where his mind was.

Despite the varied origins of both of these templates: Takayama’s designs for the Upsetter, and Andreini’s efforts to reduce the surface area of large D fins in the 60s, they have a lot more in common than you might expect. Such as: a deep effective foil and swept surface area that allows for flex that can be felt off the bottom. They also have a good amount of design variation that allows for some room for finding an interesting middle ground.

The back “leg” of this fin is considerably thinner than the leading one. This is to open up the fin’s flex by tuning that portion progressively. You may notice this is the case with my standard Flowthru fins as well. The resulting fin is one that functions more like a flex fin, or a Greenough Stage 6, while still retaining its piggy origins.

Stoked to hear how this one goes! Happy to discuss this design or my thoughts in the comments.
