That’s a wrap on the fall 2026 Blue Ridge Social!

Eight wonderful ladies braved the unpredictable weather of southwest Virginia on the iconic James River for big smallies! So proud to know these ladies and to have had the opportunity to spend a long weekend with them. Thank you to— Kim for her never ending positivity; Jill for her spirit and stories; Amanda for her candy choices and beautiful casting; Susie for her photography and excitement; Summer for her love and determination; Danielle for her BIG FISH and kindness; Susan for her never ending laughs; Jessica and Karson for beautiful cookies and opening their home to us! And don’t forget Miss Debbie for the amazing home cooked meals!

A huge thank you to Wesley Hodges and team for hosting our group and providing an unmatched location and atmosphere, the best guide team, and some unmatched days on the river!

Lizzy and lady guide tribute post!

What a beautiful opportunity to guide alongside lizzy bachman the past week in collaboration with Hastings Fishing Company and 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 at our final 2026 High Country Social. Lizzy has such a beautiful spirit and passion for fly fishing and you will learn so much in conversation and on the water with her. She is the perfect example of raising the bar for women on the water.
