The 3rd Annual Blackwater Heritage TrailBlazer 2.7 Mile Fun Run & 13km Race was a great success this year, with over 200 participants! Each year this little backyard race is growing and bringing in awareness and funds for the Blackwater Heritage State Trail.

BIG THANKS goes out to Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners, Florida State Parks (Marshall Shaw and Allen Wihela, and all the rangers), the Santa Rosa County Parks Department, Johnny Rebel and the Santa Rosa County Fire Department, and the Santa Rosa CERT team.

These folks are all about looking out for us, and keeping us safe! We could not have this event without their support and manpower.

Special thanks the library for sharing their space with us on race day!

Community and teamwork!
These are what make this event possible every year, and also what makes this event so special.

This year, Pace Water reached out and asked if they could help with a water stop on course for the 3rd Annual Blackwater Heritage TrailBlazer 2.7 Mile Fun Run & 13km Race, and of course we said yes please!

They brought water, tables, a canopy, and a whole crew of volunteers, and they were lifesavers on this hot and humid day. They kept our racers hydrated so they could crush the course and finish strong.

BIG THANKS to our friends at Pace Water System, and we can’t wait to work with you again next year!
