Hey err'body!

Two announcements to make, first I'll be attending the Swla's Hot Sauce Fest in August just over the border in Sulphur. It's the first (of hopefully many to come) and if you like things spicy, you should definitely make the trip to hang out and check out all the awesome vendors. (And help me win that People's Choice award!)

Which leads me to #2... It's time to get some stuff loaded into the fermentation buckets... What hot sauces that are currently out of stock do you want back? Soylent Green is a definite, but beyond that, which ones do you miss the most? Or do you have some flavor profile/combinations you'd like to see me try? Comment below and let me know!

Finally! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot will be back in stock this weekend at Central Mall Port Arthur at the DNCE Crafty Spring Market! Y'all wiped my already low stock out after I won the Community Votes award for Best BBQ and I haven't had a chance to make more, until now! Come get your hands on my local award winning (and almost national award winning) BBQ sauces (plenty of WTF and Black Gold in stock, limited quantities of Sweet Caroline).

Come out and stock up on your favorites this weekend at Nederland Heritage Festival! Inventory is low on a lot of things as we're trying to burn through some so we can rework some recipes, etc... But we did just finish bottling batches of the following seasonings/rubs which were out of stock:

Good Morning err'body!

Just wanted to make a post this morning about a couple things.

The biggest thing is unfortunately bad(ish) news. I've put it off, if I'm being honest, too long, but I'm going to have to increase prices. Honestly I meant to do it 2 years ago and forgot, and therefore meant to do it last year, and forgot again. And I don't like to do it in the middle of a season, I prefer to lock my prices in for the season. Good news is I'll honor existing prices right up until we do our first market of the year, so if you want to stock up at the old prices, you have some time. Once we start the market season, the new price will be $12 a bottle (up from $10) but as always I'll do sales and special bulk deals (like 5 for $50 or whatever) at different markets.

I know it seems like a big jump, but honestly I should have done a $1 increase 2 years ago and another increase last year with the rate everything has just gotten more and more expensive. I've actually been taking a loss on some products for the last year, while other products are still profitable (just not at the percentage I'd like it to be) so it's balanced out for the most part. Obviously that's not the best course of action to be a successful business.

Also just a reminder, that while we won't be at any markets until probably late Feb or early March, that doesn't mean you can't restock until then. I'm almost always available for pickup orders, just reach out and lemme know whatcha need.

I heard some clown got y'all all worked up about some basic AF seasoned salt and then ran out... You know who isn't out? Got plenty of my "Kinda a Big Dill" garlic dill seasoned salt in stock and I betcha mine tastes a helluva lot better... 🤷
