Have you ever seen yellow watermelon!? This sunshine-colored variety is a distinct, natural type of fruit featuring a subtle, honey-like flavor. It predates and is often prized for being even sweeter than traditional red watermelon. Thank you to Peoples Bank and Trust for continuing this tradition with a unique spin this year!

As the 2026 Barton County Fair comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you to our sponsors for your generosity and continued support. Your contributions help make the fair possible and allow us to provide a great experience for our exhibitors, families, and community.

Thank you to our 4-H members, exhibitors, families, and leaders for the hard work, dedication, and pride you bring to the fair each year. Watching your projects, livestock, and accomplishments come together is always one of the best parts of fair week.

Thank you to our volunteers, board members, superintendents, judges, vendors, community partners, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to help make this year’s fair happen. So much of the fair depends on people giving their time, energy, and care, and we are truly grateful.

We also want to thank everyone who helped share our posts, spread the word, invited friends and family, and supported the fair throughout the week. Every share, comment, tag, and conversation helps us reach over 100,000 views on just Facebook in the last 7 days alone and keep our community connected.

Thank you for another memorable Barton County Fair. We are grateful for everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, sponsored, and supported us this year.

We’ll see you next year at the Barton County Fair!
