Welcome to Grand Junction Foam Throwers (Competitive Nerf)!
We are a nerf club located in the Grand Junction, Colorado area! All games are held in the Mesa County area.
Welcome to the foam dart hobby!
Everyone participating is expected to follow the basic rules. Although we can not stop you from going to a public park, failure to follow the rules, play friendly, and follow the law, will result in you being un-invited to participate with the group. (Games-specific rules will be explained before games.)
Here are the general rules!
1. Safety - Wearing safety glasses or a safety mask is required during all games.
2. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult to participate in games with our group. Police will be called if minors are left abandoned.
3. No weapons of any kind while playing with our group (Fi****ms, knives, brass knuckles, ETC.)
4. Blaster requirements
- Foam blasters must only shoot foam darts or balls. (No airsoft, gel blasters, pellet guns, BB guns, ETC.)
- Blasters must shoot under about 250 feet per second, as to not cause injuries to others.
- Blasters must be bright colors and have an orange tip, as to not be mistaken for a real firearm.
- Modified blasters are OK as long as they don't break any of the other blaster rules.
5. Character - Play with integrity and fairness. If you have been hit by an opponents dart, be honest! Make sure other players know that you have been hit. Cheating makes the game way less fun anyways!
6. Follow the law! Respect law enforcement, even if they ask us to leave a specific park or area.
7. Use OUR darts! Darts of all kinds will be provided for everyone to use (Full length, half length, and NERF rival).
8. Please no foul language or slander. Gossip and bullying will result in you being un-invited.
9. Help clean up! Everyone helps pick up darts at the end of the games.
10. Have fun! Be excited about the foam-throwing hobby!
