Sept19, 1928 is the day Adam West was born. In 1966, he brought Batman to the television.

In 1966, heroes overcame their problems- they didn’t use them as an excuse for failure. They always strived to be good, and bad people were arrested with no bloodshed, and some type of message on morals or ethics was given.

Yes the shows were campy, comical and not real, but the impression of truth, equality, and justice lived in jn ghat generation.

Now Batman is dark, scarred by tragedy, not triumphed over it. He’s not all good, he’s flawed.

I stick with my silly, pure good version. I got to meet Adam West and het his autograph. 50 years old and giggling like a school girl because I got to shake his hand!

Happy 96th Birthday Batman-Adam. Thanks for all the great memories.
