This weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Arlington Jackpot Rodeo in Arlington, and I had an incredible time! I was able to help push cows, run barrels, do a run-out, and attend the Queen Luncheon. I also helped untie the tie-down calves and even got to try a new event — Buddy Barrels!

I’m so grateful for the experience and all the fun memories made along the way. I hope to see everyone again farther down the rodeo trail!

Welcome Brooke!!!

✨Introducing our 2026 team✨
Brooke Bond, 19, is in her third year as a member of the team. She has been riding horses since the age of 7 or 8, and discovered her passion for drill team riding at around 16.

Outside of her involvement with horses, Brooke is currently attending Columbia Basin College, where she is pursuing a degree in criminal justice with the goal of becoming a police officer. She is also an active member of the Franklin County Explorers program.

This season, Brooke is partnered with Redmond, a 13-year-old gelding. Brooke and Redmond are excited to perform and look forward to seeing everyone this year.

This week I had the wonderful opportunity to take part in school visits alongside the Alder Creek Pioneer Rodeo Queen and the Klickitat County Fair & Rodeo Queen. We spent time at Centerville Elementary School and Goldendale Primary School, meeting so many bright and enthusiastic students.

It was such a rewarding experience to share our love of rodeo, agriculture, and western heritage with the kids. Their curiosity and thoughtful questions made the visits even more special.

I hope to see all of these students — and the entire community — at the Ketch ’Em Kalf Rodeo this Father’s Day Weekend in Glenwood, Washington!

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the coronation of the 2026 Broken Spur Queen, Ashley, alongside Miss Cowgirls of Washington Queen Bailey. It was a wonderful evening filled with celebration, friendship, and the excitement that comes with the start of a new rodeo season.

Watching these queens step into their new roles was inspiring, and I know they will represent their titles with grace, professionalism, and pride throughout the year.

I am grateful for the opportunity to celebrate this special occasion, reconnect with familiar faces, and meet new friends along the way. I’m looking forward to cheering these queens on and crossing paths with everyone as we travel down the rodeo trail this season.

This weekend, I had the pleasure of attending and assisting at the Klickitat County Cattlemen’s Banquet. It was truly inspiring to witness the strong support within the agricultural community, especially for the next generation of producers. I was also grateful for the opportunity to assist during the live auction.

This weekend I attended the Miss NPRA coronation at the Goldendale American Legion. It was wonderful to see all of the support given to Micaela by friends, family, and the community. It was also amazing to meet Teen, Junior, and Little Miss NPRA. I am super excited to see them all again as we go down the rodeo trail!

Congratulations to our 2024 Ketchum Kalf Rodeo Queen Micaela on her 2026 title as Miss NPRA I can’t wait to see how you grow with this awesome experience!

Happy New Year!! I am looking forward to an exciting year representing the 2026 Ketchum Kalf Rodeo.
My name is Taryn Miller and I am 15 years old. Currently, I am a sophomore at the Goldendale High School, a member of the Goldendale WAHSET Team, a member of the Touch of Class dance studio and an active member of 4-H. I enjoy doing performance events and gaming events with my horse Niki at local and state levels. I have grown up watching my cousins serve as rodeo queens and my family members supporting various rodeo queen programs.
After serving as the Klickitat County 4-H Representative and the West Klickitat Posse and Saddle Club Queen, I found that I truly enjoyed promoting positive family events. With these experiences, I found myself dreaming of representing the Ketchum Kalf Rodeo along with all the friends and acquaintances that I have made in the beautiful Glenwood Valley.
