We’re growing—and we need your help!

Jacob’s Hope is expanding our services and moving into a brand-new space dedicated to our Outpatient Program. As part of this exciting transition and to meet our deadline, we’ve offered to help move the current tenant out—and that’s where you come in!

We’re looking for 4-6 volunteers (or your spouse, teen, friend...) to help with:
-Loading pre-packed boxes, empty filing cabinets, and small furniture in the building diagonally behind Jacob's Hope
-Unloading at the destination near Val Vista & McKellips

We’ve got hand carts, plenty of water, and donuts waiting—plus our deepest appreciation. With a few extra hands, it should be a quick and easy move!

Excessive heat is back. 🥵 The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for Maricopa County through Friday, June 20.

Stay safe and hydrated by drinking plenty of water, no matter your activity level, and never leave anyone — adults, children, or pets — in a car.

Check on your elderly neighbors or anyone who might need extra help in the heat. It’s a small act of that could make a big difference. 💛

Need a cool place to escape the heat? 🌡️

Gilbert and the Heat Relief Network have multiple Cooling Centers around town offering water and air conditioning.

Open during business hours:
▪️ McQueen Activity Center
▪️ Southeast Regional Library
▪️ Gilbert Community Center

Respite Centers are also available for anyone needing a place to rest. Check out the Heat Relief Network's interactive map for locations and hours: hrn.azmag.gov.

Help save lives during the hottest months of the year by donating water or electrolyte packets now through Labor Day. ☀️
