Shamrock'n the Harbor Shamrock’n the Harbor 5K/12K run/walk in Gig Harbor, WA. All proceeds benefit the GH Senior Center

Shamrock’n the Harbor 12K and 5K is an out-and-back course starting at the Cushman Trail Park, at the top of Hollycroft and Soundview Drive. You’ll run along the beautiful Cushman Trail towards the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. 5K participants will circle back to the finish line at the 2.5 mile post. And, for the adventurous 12K runners, the course will take you a distance across the Tacoma Narrows Bridg

e for a bird’s eye view of the Narrows before turning around to make your way back to the finish line.

Proud to support the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation and the many people, programs, and partnerships helping strengthen our community. Today is GGHF’s 20th birthday and WA Gives — a great day to support local work that makes a real difference close to home.

Today, communities across Washington are coming together through WA Gives to support the places and people that matter most to them.

Here at home, that support looks like scholarships for local students, outdoor learning for children, connection and care for seniors, stewardship of the natural places we all share, and neighbors continuing to show up for one another year after year.

In uncertain times, strengthening local community may be one of the most meaningful things we can still do together.

While we may not be able to fix everything, we can still make a real difference close to home.
