1,175 hours.
That's the approximate number of hours our volunteers put in between Friday and Monday of festival weekend. Four days, setup before a single car pulled in, parking, greeting, the kids' area, merch tables, and cleanup long after the last song.
And that count is volunteers only. It doesn't include the hours our Board put in. It doesn't include the HorizonServe team. It doesn't include The Great Commission Alliance. Add all of it together and we're pushing somewhere around 2,000 hours of donated time, for one weekend, in one small corner of western Nebraska.
We say "free admission, free parking, all ages" on every post we make. This is what makes that sentence possible. Not a budget line, people. Neighbors who took time off work. Families who served together. Folks who stood in the sun directing traffic so somebody else could walk in and worship without paying a dime.
If you wore the blue shirt at Horizon 2026: thank you. You built this.
And if you watched this year and thought I'd like to be part of that, you can be. We're already working on next year, and volunteer sign-ups will be announced on this page first.
