Today we honored our dear friend and a special part of our festival, Nikki Bergmeier, who passed away in December. She was always the helpful and smiling face at the information desk. She is dearly missed and will always be a part of our fair family. A rose bush is being planted on the grounds in her memory. Hugs to her husband Matt, their two children, & her parents who are still part of our fair family. ❤️

We are having the best time today! The weather is gorgeous and everyone is just having a really great day out here at The Cotton Fair.

We are grateful to have so many creative arts and craft vendors that come to the fair from all over the country, but we also have quality food vendors, and entertainers, and civic organizations! The fair ends at 5pm so you have plenty of time to come out and enjoy it all, the vibe is spring and we are all for it!

Shop on us! Win $200 in Cotton Fair cash to purchase that one special treasure or the few treasures you have had your eye on from any of our amazing vendors. Just fill out your registration by 12pm at the information booth, gather at the stage by 1pm for the announcement of the winner. You must be present to win. Good luck!

The day is over, and we just wanted to say thank you for coming today. We are so glad it turned out to be a gorgeous day for you to enjoy day one of the Cotton Fair. We also want to say thank you to all the vendors and entertainers for traveling from near and far to bring such fabulous offerings. Of course a shout out to the Cotton Fair staff on site and behind the scenes who work hard to make sure that every fair is a great experience for everyone.

A special note of thanks and gratitude to the residents of Gay and the Gay family who began it all so many years ago. Tomorrow is another day and we are so ready to do it all over again. We will see you at the gates at 9am!
