Trail Users PSA: There is a 5 mile trail race at Motts Run Reservoir on Sunday, 31 May from 8:00-11:00. We are utilizing the north western trails (Snuffleupagus trail, Duff Green trail and the hiking trails). I don’t want anyone to be surprised if they encounter 100 runners on the trails if they were expecting a nice peaceful hike. Thank you. Fredericksburg Trails Alliance

WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS. We are in the final steps of preparation for our 2026 Trail Series. This is a series of six trail races, increasing in distance from 5k to half-marathon. These events are low-cost athletic competitions with very generous cutoff times. The courses are for beginner and experienced trail runners alike and have been designed to introduce you to the area's extensive trail network, as well as to meet other cool people in the trail running community.
