Happy New Year, everybody! 🎉
What a year it’s been for USA Deaf Volleyball!
This year, Lynn Ray Boren attended the Regional Convention in Denver, Colorado, continuing to build and strengthen relationships with our regions and focusing on how we can best support the future of deaf athletes.
We hosted our Indoor Volleyball Training Camp in Colorado Springs at Colorado College, and proudly provided a day clinic for the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind.
On the competitive side, we competed at the US Open, where our men’s team earned a silver medal in the Gold Bracket 🥈. We also launched a 16U girls indoor volleyball team in Arizona, continuing to grow opportunities for youth athletes.
Our Beach Volleyball program hosted beach training sessions and collaborated with SLUNKS, expanding the game in exciting new ways.
And to top it all off, we spent our Deaflympics year in Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵—an unforgettable experience representing our community on the world stage.
Here’s to growth, connection, and even bigger goals ahead in the new year. 🇺🇸🏐
