Thanks to the support of so many, 2021 was Avery Meyer Handcrafted’s best year ever! Today, I was able to donate $1,447 to (Food Allergy Research & Education/FARE) from my 2021 sales! I send a sincere thank you to Doug PlesKovitch and for selling my product, the individuals who commissioned special items, and everyone who purchased products from me personally and at the pop up and trade show.

I’ve spent some time this summer working on new product offerings from Avery Meyer Handcrafted. I have decided to go a bit retro with these pocket watches made with exotic Bocote and Wenge wood cases. They are on Etsy now. I have been working other ideas and will post them soon.

I made this by hand in my fathers workshop using a lathe and various chisels. Each exotic wood watch case is finished with consecutive layers of French polish for a high-gloss finish. This black-faced, silver tone bezel, Roman numeral pocket watch set in exotic wood (wenge) housing will make a great
