Artist Profile: Jesse Struckhoff

From Cowbell Collective:

Jesse Struckhoff is a Northern Colorado guitarist and vocalist best known as the driving force behind Uncle Jesse's Blues Skillet. Although his original music draws from Blues and Rock traditions, he has developed a reputation for pulling from eclectic influences, often delivering unexpected covers of bands like Pantera, Black Sabbath.....and Lizzo. Around Fort Collins, he is also known for surprise acoustic appearances where those same hard-edged songs take on an entirely different character, sometimes with a wink of humor.

Beyond the Blues Skillet stage, Jesse shows his range as a member of the Colorado Coast Guard, a Fort Collins yacht rock cover band known for its playful spirit and performances on Horsetooth Reservoir. The contrast between soulful blues, metal-leaning covers, and breezy soft-rock nostalgia highlights his versatility and unmistakable presence in the local music scene.

Jesse has appeared on notable Northern Colorado stages, including Cowbell’s event The Happening at The Lyric, where his performances reflect both his musicianship and deep connection to the regional creative community.

Artist Profile: Steven Wayne Cobb

From our friends Cowbell Collective:

"Originally from America’s heartland, Steven Wayne Cobb found his way to the Rockies and never looked back. A vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Steve brings a lifelong love of music to every project he’s part of. His foundation is rooted in classic rock and roll, with a focus on guitar and keyboards.

After settling in Fort Collins, Colorado, Steve’s musical path began to take shape in a bigger way. He quickly became part of the local scene, collaborating with a wide range of musicians across the Front Range. Known for his adaptability and musical sensitivity, Steve has shared stages with many artists and continues to value collaboration as a core part of his creative life.

A defining chapter of that journey began with his involvement in the early days of The Last Waltz. What started as a single project grew into an ongoing series of performances celebrating the music and spirit of The Band. Through Cowbell Collective, Steve has been a consistent presence in The Last Waltz Again events and related festival appearances, becoming a familiar face within the Cowbell community.

That spirit of collaboration eventually led Steve to join Switchman Sleepin'. With the band, he helps bring the music of the Grateful Dead to life for new and longtime listeners alike. Whether performing tribute material or connecting with fellow musicians on stage, Steven Wayne Cobb plays with intention, warmth, and a deep respect for the shared experience of live music."
