🏈 📣 Good afternoon Forest City Cavalier family!!

Forest City Youth Football and cheer will be joining the WNC youth football league.

We will be posting updates soon for signups for this season.

All age groups will be tackle this season: 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U (can’t turn 13 before May 1st 2025 to be eligible for 12u)

It is proposed for us to have four home games and four away games.

West Henderson
Eeast Henderson

Just a little off season update 📢

We can't have an amazing season without the amazing volunteers time that gets poured into our youth each year! We will be looking for a few things on the cheer side of the Cavaliers! Coaches, assistant coaches, varsity cheerleaders who would love to help out with practices and games, and home game help (chains, concessions, entry gate) for this coming up season to volunteer time into our youth cheerleaders! So keep a lookout for more official posts on these spots. If you know you're already interested in a possible position please message us!

We enjoyed seeing our Cavalier families come out to the Banquet last weekend!! A HUGE THANK YOU to our volunteers that made the 2024 season possible!! The time and love you all poured into our youth makes such a huge impact in their lives!
We are looking forward to our next season!

Football and Cheer Banquet will be Saturday, January 25th from 5-7 at Florence Baptist Church.

Christmas parade information! 🎄

•Wear red and black!
•Parade starts at 3 on Sunday
•Drop off cheerlearders and football players at wellsfargo down town FC by 2pm!
•Once you see the Cavalier Float pass by you during the parade, please promptly start making your way to the methodist church on Elizabeth Avenue for pickup.
•Children will not be able to leave the float or parade once dropped off, so please be sure to have them use the restroom before drop off.
•10U & 12U will be walking & passing out candy. Please wear appropriate walking shoes.
•Flag and 8U will be riding on the float. Once on the float children can not get off until we are at our stopping point.
•Please talk to your kid(s) about staying seated throughout the parade for their safety. If you have a child walking, talk about the importance of listening to the adults walking with them to ensure ghwir safety as well. ❤️

Candy donations would be greatly appreciated! ❤️

It's competition day tomorrow!!!

A few reminders:
• Admission is 7$
•Competition starts at 9 at the spindale house
(Cheerleaders who are in competition, confirm with your coaches what time you need to arrive!)
•No outside food please, there will be concessions available
•There should be signs on the bleachers for where teams and family sits!

Most importantly, bring your spirit & be LOUD AND PROUD TO SUPPORT OUR CAVALIER YOUTH CHEERLEADERS! ❤️
