A.M. DAVILA!

Please welcome Hudson Valley author A.M. Davila to Author’s Row at Hudson Valley Horror Fest 2026!

A transplant to the Hudson Valley from Long Island, Davila writes post-apocalyptic and dystopian fiction for both young adult and adult readers, creating worlds that are fantastical but frighteningly plausible. Her characters are inspired by real life and the people around us — making her stories of survival and societal collapse hit a little closer to home.

When she's not imagining the end of civilization, A.M. Davila is a New York high-school Social Studies teacher, wife and mom who enjoys reading, writing, traveling and the outdoors. 📚💀 WELCOME TO AUTHOR’S ROW — DORIAN J. SINNOTT! 💀📚

We’re excited to welcome Hudson Valley’s own Dorian J. Sinnott to Author’s Row at Hudson Valley Horror Fest 2026!

Dorian is an award-winning author of horror and dark fiction, with work appearing in literary magazines and anthologies around the world. His stories have earned nominations for both the Best of the Net and Eric Hoffer Book Award and have made the jump beyond the printed page through audio productions from Chilling Tales for Dark Nights and Nightshift Radio, as well as comic adaptations. He is also a member of the Horror Writers Association and Horror Authors Guild.

And he's definitely a LOCAL author horror fans should know! Dorian has been recognized multiple times in the Chronogram Readers’ Choice Awards, including 1st Place for Local Author in 2023, 2nd Place in 2024, and 3rd Place in 2026.

His dark fiction frequently ventures into folk horror and grief horror, exploring some of the very real fears, loss and trauma that can haunt us long after the story ends. When he's not writing, Dorian says you'll often find him traveling, attending metal concerts or watching horror movies with his family.

📖 His work includes It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, Along About Midnight, and a huge catalog of short fiction appearing across horror collections and publications.

Jack is the creator of the Professor Spectre series of fast-paced supernatural thriller novels — stories filled with ghosts, vampires, shapeshifters, the undead, occult mysteries and things that definitely go bump in the night.

CHRISTOPHER Di CESARE

Some people write about hauntings. Christopher Di Cesare lived through one.

We’re excited to welcome author, public speaker and extreme haunting survivor Christopher Di Cesare — “The Ghost Boy of Erie Hall” — to Hudson Valley Horror Fest 2026!

In 1985, while a student at SUNY Geneseo, Christopher found himself at the center of what became known as the C2D1 Haunting — an extraordinary paranormal case involving reported full-bodied apparitions, disembodied voices, moving objects, physical attacks, photographs, audio recordings and even a priest’s blessing.

The terrifying events surrounding Christopher eventually earned him the nicknames “The Ghost Boy of Geneseo” and “The Ghost Boy of Erie Hall.”

We’re excited to welcome horror author Alex Grass to Author’s Row at Hudson Valley Horror Fest 2026!

Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and now based in Brooklyn, Alex specializes in fiction that isn't afraid to venture into the strange, grotesque, disturbing and downright uncomfortable. His stories have appeared in publications including Maudlin House, The Genre Society, Trembling With Fear, and Apocalypse Confidential, among others. His 2022 novel A Boy’s Hammer was nominated for the Kirkus Prize.

💀 His newest release is INFERNAL TRAMPS: TALES OF WEIRD TERROR, a collection of 17 horror stories released in July 2026 that throws its characters into everything from seemingly innocent situations gone horribly wrong to serial killers, body horror and outright grotesque nightmares.
