Flag City Dance Festival 2026 Schedule Teaser #2! Which classes/events are you most excited for?

We have a phenom lineup of instructors, and they PACKED this schedule full of awesome dances from different countries and cultures. There's a groove here for you, we know it🥰

Dustin Betts (VA) has a brand new dance for you, it'll be the first teach of it in the US! He's also got some Samba fun, and some classic Irish excellence on the roster.

John Robinson (IN) has something for everyone: classic Robinson/Hunyadi choreo, some soul, some high energy stuff, and some bollywood!

Debi Pancoast (OH) has all the goodness: technique for making your moves fluid and fun, a reteach of a classic hustle dance that's making big rounds on Tiktok, some west coast, and some Irish.

Kerry Maus (MN) is bringing Nomad (her new dance choreographed with Jo Thompson Szymanski!!), international collabs, a little twerking, and a fun K-pop vibe🥳

Rachel Trim (MI) is coming from way up in the Mitten and packing some Cha-cha, soul, and some moves to Nigerian music!

Vanessa Johnston (Canada) is bringing some Canadian dances (both classic AND new)as well as some UK and Scotland-born choreo fun!

Margie Wien (OH), local superhero, has some Maddison Glover in the mix, some French music, and a spot of Irish fun.

Kim Ames (OH - Kick The Dust Up with Kim) is coming down from the NW corner of our state to bring country, classic pop, South African, and even some Jonas Brothers vibes to the Flag City!

Patti Pisoni (OH) is coming in on Saturday and packing her classes full of soul, sass, Latin vibes, and a new Ben Murphy (our German friend who keeps us hopping during A Bar Song!) dance!

You can pre-register for the event anytime before this Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 5pm.

Not sure if you can come yet? No worries! We're taking walk-ins every day too! Last-minute plans still count as plans, come join us bestie!

Classes and all regular evening dances are located at the Hilton Garden Inn Findlay (1050 Interstate Drive, Findlay, OH 45840).

Our Saturday night evening pass gets you into our themed dance party, Flags of the World, AND our AFTER PARTY at our 2nd location downtown. After party is super BYOB friendly, and we'll have shuttles available to take you back and forth from the hotel to the after party (it's a short 6 min drive).

And BEST of all - your money is going towards a good cause? All proceeds from the Flag City Line Dance Festival go to our host, the Black Heritage Library & Multicultural Center, which hosts educational and community-building events right here in the Flag City.

Excited to welcome NE Ohio's Patti Pisoni and her awesome energy to our FCLDF 2026 lineup!

How did you first find line dance?
-I saw an ad online for the Dusty Armadillo after my kids moved out. One time and I was hooked!

How long have you been a line dancer?
- 8 years

How many years have you been teaching line dance?
-7 years

Where do you teach?
- Northeastern Ohio

Favorite dances:
- Right now Lovely Day (choreo by Ben Murphy) - will be on the FCLDF teach list!

First dance you ever learned?
- Singles You Up

Favorite thing about the line dance community?
-It keeps people active at all ages.

Advice or encouragement for those who may be interested in learning to line dance?
- "That was terrible!" said no one ever after dancing. Everyone should come out and shake their ass at least once. It's a guaranteed good time. You don't need to be perfect. The people that look the best dancing, are the people that are having the most fun.

Best piece of advice you have been given about line dancing?
- Have fun!

Fun fact(s) about you:
- I got my license suspended for speeding.

Highlights:
