We are so honored to have volunteering with us at Saturday’s Fruit Salad events. A portion of Fruit Salad proceeds will go to AR Justice Reform Coalition, toward the very important work they do in our community.

“Founded in January 2019, local community members attended a Washington County Quorum Court meeting where the former sheriff Tim Helder proposed doubling the size of the jail to 1,400 beds at a cost of $38mm+ in Washington County. A grassroots campaign led by community members of all walks of life put efforts towards education & awareness, bringing forward data, best practices and evidence-based solutions to minimize and replace harmful systems that to-date has stopped over $300mm+ in NWA jail expansion plans.

Ultimately, AJRC’s goal is to identify the structural causes of mass incarceration. Our current work revolves around reducing mass incarceration and mitigating its impact through education & awareness, direct support, & policy and law change. We prioritize creating inclusive decision-making spaces for those affected and their families, aiming to promote equal access to justice for all.

We work to end mass incarceration led by the voices of the families and individuals of those directly impacted.
We envision a world where every individual is empowered to thrive in community through prevention of harm and fostering strong coalitions.”

Fruit Salad attendees will also be able to donate directly to AR Justice Reform at the events.
