Hey guys! The Great Firkin Fest is coming up again on April 18th. They are looking for volunteers to help with the event, so if you're interested, see the details below and let Sarah know:

"We are seeking volunteers for the 2nd Annual Great Firkin Fest at Moe's in downtown Mobile on Saturday, April 18. The event will start at 2 p.m.; tapping ceremony for the firkins is at 2:30 p.m. Sampling of firkins will continue until 5:30 p.m. Awards for four categories will be given out at 6 p.m. Live music and crawfish to follow.

We have 14 breweries from all over the Southeast participating. There will be (1) volunteer posted up with one of the breweries to help them pour for the duration of the festival. They will also wear a brewery tshirt, in which the brewery will provide. You get free access to the festival as well. You are there to help relieve the brewery rep and just aid them in any way possible. I am looking for about 10 people!

We have put in our final request for for our brew list this evening. Hats off to all the breweries whom are kicking out the special cask and firkins for our event. The line up looks amazing. We will have some more updates coming soon. In the meantime, we have several volunteers signed up already, but we are looking for a few more. If you are interested, contact Drew at [email protected] and follow the directions in your response so we can get your birthday and correct T-shirt size. All volunteers will receive food and and plenty of beer after the general population clears out. Plus, you will get to meet the brewers, reps, and distributors that will be onsite to help with festival.
