Today we’re featuring Evanston Latinos , an organization dedicated to strengthening and uplifting the Latino community in Evanston. They create opportunities for connection, leadership, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and cultural celebration, so that Latino families can thrive and contribute fully to the life of our city. Performer spotlight! Evanston’s own Justin Roberts will kick off the Main Street Fair on June 27 at 11 a.m. with an energetic and exciting performance on the Main Stage, at Main St and Sherman Ave! A Grammy-nominated musician, Justin’s tunes have solidified him as one of the founders of the modern family music scene. The kid-oriented concert will have guests of all ages singing and dancing along! Stay tuned for more exciting lineup announcements, and make a plan to spend the day at the Main Street Fair!

Today we’re featuring Evanston ASPA, a non-profit dedicated to providing resources and support for the local Asian American community. Through festivals, workshops, and other cultural events, they use the arts to increase the visibility and representation of the Asian American diaspora in civic, cultural and community spaces. Want to get more involved in this summer’s Main Street Fair? We are looking for a team of energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to help make the day a success! Activities include helping with booth set-up, traffic management, ADA es**rt, clean-up, and other essential duties. Volunteers get a behind- the-scenes look at the Fair, a commemorative t-shirt, and our undying gratitude.
