Elmira Irish Festival The 2016 Elmira Irish Festival will be on Saturday, September 10th from 2:00-10:00 pm, at the Hibernian Center at 701 Kinyon Ave. in Elmira, NY.

The Elmira Irish Festival, held annually "halfway to St. Patrick's Day," is often imitated, but never duplicated! Come enjoy Irish music of all kinds (past bands have included the Town Pants, Hair of the Dog, The Stoutmen, and more), watch the whirling skirts and tapping feet of Celtic dancers, raise a pint with friends, sing along with traditional Irish songs and fall in love with new ones, satisfy your hunger with traditional festival food (sausage, salt potatoes, and burgers) or Irish favorites like corned beef sandwiches (all made by hand in the Hibernian kitchens!), and thrill to the music of bagpipers. Round out the evening by dancing under the stars to a great Irish band. This event has been hosted for more than 15 years, and is currently held at the Elmira Hibernian Center, at the corner of Pennsylvania Ave, Miller, and Kinyon Streets. Come on out and join us: bring your lawn chairs and have a good time while helping the community!
