The simplest and often overlooked pieces sometimes have the most amazing stories behind them. This was in a lot purchased at a CT Fi****ms Auction, and upon opening the book it took one of our members down a historical path straight to the beaches of Iwo Jima…. https://ycgg.org/a-random-encounter-with-history-by-stephen-king

The Iconic M1 Carbine - First introduced during World War II, the M1 Carbine became one of the most widely produced and relied-upon American military fi****ms in history, praised for its lightweight design and reliability.

Today, the M1 Carbine is one of the most collected and prized additions to any fi****ms collection. Come talk the experts at our show November 21st and 22nd and get your carbine appraised, find needed parts, or purchase your first carbine from one of our vendors.

Today, we're taking a closer look at a historic M1911A1 .45 caliber pistol which will be on display at our show this November 21st and 22nd.

Highlighting historic military fi****ms allows us to honor the brave individuals who carried them. Lemuel Custis, a Hartford native, was one of the original five aviators to graduate from the Tuskegee Army Air Field, making history as a pioneering member of the 99th Pursuit Squadron.

We challenge every sportsman’s club in the state to step up and match our contribution. This is our chance the rectify a great wrong inflicted upon the law abiding fi***rm owners in Connecticut. Let’s celebrate the Constitution State once again supporting and upholding the Constitution!

THANK YOU YE CONNECTICUT GUN GUILD AND ANDOVER SPORTSMAN’S CLUB FOR THEIR SUPPORT 👏👏👏

At the last CCDL General Membership Meeting: Stephen King, Chairman of the Board of Andover Sportsman’s Club and Vice President of Ye Connecticut Gun Guild along with YCGG Member and CCDL Outreach Member David Polowy presented CCDL with checks for $1,000 from each organization.

A challenge issued from Stephen King to all clubs: “donate one thousand dollars to CCDL…”

Thank you to both clubs for their generous contributions and support of our fight in Hartford and now the Supreme Court.

Join the fight today and DONATE to CCDL, Carry On!

After a 13 year fight, the Supreme Court of the United States has agreed to hear CCDL’s challenge to the Connecticut ban on so-called “assault weapons”. In the year ahead, the attorneys and plaintiffs will be travelling to D.C. to argue the case. A ruling will be made sometime in the 2026 term, which begins in October and ends around July 2027.

Ye Connecticut Gun Guild is proud to contribute to the cause, and now challenges all other collector organizations, dealers, and sportsman’s clubs throughout our great state to do the same. We have one shot at this, and we all need to pool our resources in support of this effort to restore our constitutional rights.
