Registration is open for the 2021 Fall Blaze. In addition to the road ride there are 2 Mountain Bike and 2 Gravel courses. Proceeds to benefit Fort Lewis Cycling scholarships and operations! Based on what Durango did this last week at the Tour de France and Mountain Bike Nationals let's keep this program thriving!! Thank you for your support. See you there!

Registration for the 2021 Fall Blaze, Saturday Sept 25, is now open! Early bird pricing is $75 before July 1. In addition to the traditional 37 mile Road ride we have a 75 mile Road, 17 and 31 mile MTB and 41 and 82 mile Gravel rides (with some private property access for the Gravel ride!). As always there’ll be a celebration at the finish with great food, local beverages and live music. All net proceeds directly support the FLC Cycling Scholarship and Club Funds. Hello Blaze fans! If you missed this year's virtual Blaze, here is another chance to support the FLC Cycling Team. You can text "FLC" to 51555 to get a reminder next Tuesday to navigate to the Athletics page and click the CYCLING button to donate.

The FLC Cycling Team is taking part in FLC's Giving Tuesday on Dec. 1 along with Athletics and other programs. Each year the cycling team relies on donations from our fans to continue to provide an amazing program to student cyclists, we'd really appreciate your support. The giving page will go live on Dec 1 and the link will be sent out, all you have to do is click the CYCLING button and it is straightforward from there. If you'd like a reminder next Tuesday you can text "FLC" to 51555 and you'll get a notification. Happy Tgiving and Go Skyhawks!

Hello Fall Blazers! After a brief stint of radio silence we are back at it with the virtual Durango Fall Blaze presented by Morehart Murphy Subaru in about a months time.

The ride of the season kicks off on Saturday, September 26 at 9 a.m. Hop on the saddle of whatever steed you prefer from wherever you are to head out on a ride as long as you like! MTB, gravel, road? Of course! E-bike, unicycle, peloton? Go for it!

You can register at http://durangofallblaze.com and also choose to be a fundraiser for the team to receive incentives from Optic Nerve sunglasses, Orange Seal tire sealant and Champion Systems neck gaiters. Register by Sept 13 to ensure you'll receive your custom Blaze number plate!

Join the Durango Fall Blaze Strava Club for a bit of friendly competition to win one of three Osprey Packs hip hydration packs. Compete for the most miles ridden, most vertical gained, and most vertical lost (lift-served access, anyone?). Grab a friend or more, and make it a memorable ride, taking photos along the way. Best photos posted on Instagram with and RockyMounts will be entered to win one of two Rocky Mounts hitch racks.

Our passion for Cycling and Community runs deep and we are looking to keep passing it on to our student athletes and we need your help.
