Today is , a global movement of generosity that is more vital in 2020 than ever before. It's a day dedicated to uplifting communities, empowering nonprofits, and celebrating kindness.

For more than 25 years, Dunwoody Preservation Trust (DPT) has seen ourselves as friends working with our community – and developers, local businesses and the city government – to help make Dunwoody a place where the past and present co-exist in harmony. Today, wherever the people of Dunwoody gather for public celebrations, you’re bound to see us – proud of being part of the glue that holds our community together. Whether it be Lemonade Days, Light Up Dunwoody at the Cheek-Spruill Farmhouse, Apple Cider Days, Camp Flashback and other events at the Donaldson-Bannister Farm, DPT is at the heart of all of these community activities.

2020 has been a struggle for all of us. Please consider donating to Dunwoody Preservation Trust today so that we can continue to be part of that glue for our community. Thank you for your support.

Thank you so much for everyone that came out to Apple Cider Days on Saturday! It was a beautiful day and we hope everyone had a great time. We wanted to announce the winners of our Scarecrow Row contest. By Saturday, we had 20 entries and they were all fabulous so it was a tough decision! The winners are.....

People's Choice - Kindergarten Cop - made by Mrs. Morton's Kindergarten Class at the Kingswood School

Best in Show - Scare Diva - made by the City of Dunwoody

Scariest Scarecrow - Humpty Lumpty - made by Isabel Varano and her grandfather

Honorable Mention - Georgia O'Painter - made by the Dunwoody Fine Art Association

The winners will receive a gift certificate to Novo Cucina, Marlow's Tavern or Chick-fil-A. Thank you to our local restaurants for the prizes!

Be sure to come by the Donaldson-Bannister Farm between now and December 1st. We will keep the scarecrows on display until then.

Also, we will be back again next year for Scarecrow Row. This year's winners currently have bragging rights but start putting your thinking caps on for next fall!
