Lippencott Alpacas has been in business for 20 years & have a Farm Store with yarns: PA yarn, Peruvian yarn (DK & sock) and our own yarn from our animals (100% Baby-Grade 1 & yarn blended with silk). We will offer some socks, gloves (C0-OP) and stuffed animals with alpaca fleece. Alpaca fiber is known for its amazing softness and high wicking action to keep your body warm and dry. It doesn't hold odor. Most people feel more comfortable wearing alpaca rather than sheep wool. Alpaca has 22 natural colors and can also be dyed into many beautiful colors. Alpaca can be blended with merino, silk, bamboo, tencel, yak and more. I have my own white Grade 1 (Baby-means softest) alpaca yarns. I also have a limited amount of my own white Baby alpaca yarn blended with silk. People who dye yarns will have fun dying my white yarns! Once you work with alpaca, it is hard to use sheep yarn again. Touching is Believing!
