Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28, 2014 are the dates for the Ohio Valley Rib & Chicken Cook-Off at the Heritage Port in downtown Wheeling, West Virginia. This year's festival promises to be the best yet. Lip smacking, finger licking ribs and moist juicy chicken are at the top of the agenda. Other summer-time favorites include freshly squeezed lemonade, funnel cakes, hotdogs, roasted corn and

ice cold beer in the beer garden. Let's not forget the many craft vendors selling wares along with informational booths. Food and craft vendors will be selling beginning at 12 noon on Friday and Saturday. Free music and entertainment starts at 3:00 p.m. and continues until 11:00 p.m. We are proud to announce that in response to popular demand we will be bringing back the Ohio Valley Promanders and the award winning Take-A-Bow Dance Studio on Friday.

New Silver Eagle Band
The New Silver Eagle Band performs more of today's top country but still can perform those all time classics with the addition of Russ Buchanan of Wellsburg, WV and female vocalist Sara Nicole of Columbiana, OH. The new group is being received quite well with its new music and show that is filled with quite alot of fan involvement and comedy thrown in too.

Everyday America
Everyday America is a Sugarland Tribute Band that truly captures the sound and energy of one of the top country/crossover bands in the world today. Their high energy show is incredibly entertaining and comletely family friendly. Their goal is to bring the Sugarland experience to local venues that the whole family can enjoy.

Adrian Niles Band
Adrian Niles has been writing and performing music since the age of fifteen. He co-formed his first band, Legacy, as a freshman in high school. Adrian has released six albums since 1998. In 2006 he co-formed The Trainjumpers, a Wheeling-based roots-rock group. The Adrian Niles Band released an album in 2011 which features a repertoire of blues based songs. Niles has performed at the legendary B. B. King's Blues Club in New York City in the fall of 2012. He opened the evening with a very successful solo acoustic set for the iconic group The New Riders of the Purple Sage.

Trippin' the Riff
Trippin' The Riff, a brain storm of founding members Joe Calangelo and Russ Ratcliffe, became a full fledged band with the addition of Eric Stadler on bass and John Daner on drums. The group plays blues, southern rock, and is a jam band.

Jill West and Blues Attack
Jill West and Blues Attack, a Pittsburgh based blues band, play their own style of hard edged blues with a guitar blast, in the tradition of the Vaughn brothers, B. B. King, and Muddy Waters. Led by the dynamic vocals of Miss Jill West, Blues Attack has been igniting audiences all over the tri-state area as well as opening for many national acts. Blues Attack got their blues education playing the steel city's smoky bars and sharing the stage wih greats like Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley, and B. B. King. Blues Attack is a band to be reckoned with!!
