Still here at 10am! Our lodge guys stayed at the Flores Ranch to hunt this morning and did awesome, too. We’ll take them here tomorrow morning for another great hunt before they leave. Only 20 minutes from the Flores Ranch.

The Flores Ranch in Pearsall has been on fire this season! Our lodge hunters have been able to hunt on premises for one to two hunts, no leaving the ranch!

A lot of people ask how the second season in December/January is, and we are always honest with them…sometimes it’s even better!

Cooler temperatures, sitting around the fire pit at night, being able to hunt when it’s not 97 degrees, access to purchase a whitetail or just sit in the blind if you want to skip a dove hunt.

Everybody’s thinking of whitetail during December/January, the second dove season offers an affordable alternative to that, especially for families!

Season’s getting close!
Our Black Creek location in Moore, Texas is only 15 minutes from both our Devine and Pearsall Lodge locations.

With one pivot of sunflowers, one in wheat, one in sesame, along with dryland of Milo, planted sunflowers and wild dove w**d, we utilize every square inch of land we have. Also, with four tanks on the property, a creek and huge oak trees, the birds have everything they need. This is one of our several locations from Lytle to Pearsall.

Sunflowers in the pivots are about 7’ tall right now and haven’t even bloomed! We have over 12 pivots of sunflowers, sesame, wheat and hundreds and hundreds of acres of dryland that’s growing awesome as well! Gonna be an awesome season!

Almost done planting the last of our fields. We’ll have 140 acres more irrigated land compared to last season! Two more pivots in Lytle and one in Moore! With the new dates this season, we are filling up fast. Lodging up to 60 in Devine and up to 40 in Pearsall.

Dates have been filling up earlier than previous years, so get in now for the upcoming season!

Dates are in! Time to get those hunts booked. The 2026-2027 Dove Season dates were approved by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Commission today. Note a huge change — South Zone opener will be on Sept. 1 now, like the other two zones! Which also eliminates the Special White-Winged Dove Days.
