The stones below were collected from all over the world according to the owner. How did the owner in the stone selling business? "One day, my friend goes to me "Hey man why aren't you selling rocks?' So we took a trip, got some stones, and I've been in the business ever since!"

And this is a family business. His sister sews the clothing in Senegal.

This is Omani. She's a pastor. A while ago, she decided that she needed to reconnect with her roots and discovered the beauty of the African community. All of her interactions are from the divine. She's also a hugger. We would love to hear a story from your experience at the 36th African World Festival at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.

The 36th African World Festival ended a week ago at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History but there is still much to share from the festival.

The story of Yvonne, an from Ghana. After high school, she went straight to school. Yvonne began her business with two sewing machines and no money to invest in her business. People bought her fabric to sew and that's how she started making money. Today, she's grown her business to 200 sewing machines, having locations in both New York and Ghana. The masks are carved by her family, too.
