Not that anyone really cares, but after an unhappy patron accused me last Spring of never putting any money made from 1010 back into the space, I thought I should compile a list of improvements/investments we've made to 1010 over the summer of 2026...
1.) Repair, weatherproofing, and re-staining of the church pews (they look fantastic now)!
2.) Purchase of a whole set of new (to us) Point-of-Sale tablets, tablet stands, and Square readers.
3.) New Zip-up Hoodies and battle patches (now available for purchase).
4.) Some new Bluetooth audio units to plug into the PA (for background music/testing) (and tablet to play music with).
5.) A new glass tube pyramid propane heater (so that I have 4 total). I like the look of the flames, rather than the old umbrella-looking patio heaters, and having 4 just go around the yard quite nicely).
6.) 5 fog machines and a fog+bubble machine.
7.) Repair and maintenance of our analog sound boards (the 24 channel 1985 Soundcraft 200B from the basement, and the two 1990s-vintage 16-channel Allen & Heath Mixwizards that I use in the yard -- a main and a spare).
8.) Another Soundcraft 200B to use as a "parts car" to keep my main console up and running. (40 year old parts are getting harder and harder to locate and acquire!)
9.) Two more QSC K12.2 speakers to add to the the other powered speakers in my inventory.
10.) A new (to me) front of house workstation/table for me to use out in the yard (so I don't have to stand up/lean on a barstool as much anymore).
11.) A new case for the Mixwizard in the yard (to protect it from the elements A LOT better)!
I'm probably missing some things, but I think that's most of it.
