Maple Fest at Camp Lazarus - Camp Lazarus Maple Syrup Festival Come and learn about how we make real maple syrup at Camp Lazarus! All are welcome! Open to scouts and the public! No pre-registration is needed!

When: First two Saturdays in March - 9am to 4pm (rain, snow, or shine)

Where: Camp Lazarus is located on the west side of State Route 23, across from the Delaware Area Career Center, at 4422 Columbus Pike, Delaware, Ohio 43015. Daily Admission at Front Gate: $15 (does not include meals)

Online-only Pre-registration Package: $20, package includes one festival admission, one meal in the dining hal

PARKING: parking is at Columbus State Delaware Campus just south of camp off Greif Road. we have a free shuttle to camp. Dress appropriately for the weather, most of the activites are outdoors. We celebrate rain or shine (or snow)!! Pancake Feast served in the Dining Hall from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for an additional $5. Hot dogs and chips are also available in the afternoon. Learn about the history of maple syrup and watch maple syrup being crafted in our Sugar Shack! Hand-crafted Camp Lazarus Maple Syrup will be available for sale at the Camp Store while supplies last! Other activities include shooting BBs, pioneer area w/blacksmith, rope making, and many other family fun activities!!

Tomorrow is the last Saturday to come enjoy the 2022 Maple Fest at Camp Lazarus! Bundle up and come on out. Front gate admission is $15 and a meal in the dining hall is $5. Maple Fest starts this Saturday and the weather looks to be fantastic!! If you didn't pre-register, you can still come out and enjoy the festival. Admission at the front gate is $15 per person, meals in the dining hall are $5 each, and event patches are $3 (while supplies last). We will also have maple candy and a limited supply of hand-crafted, Camp Lazarus maple syrup for sale (while supplies last). Fan favorites, Liberty Kettle Corn and The Funnel Cake Station are both returning this year! Dress for the weather as most of our activities are outside! Don't forget to bring a mask to wear indoors (unless sitting and eating).

This past weekend, Maple Fest lost a beautiful family member and long-time volunteer. Johanna Leonard Marrazzi went home to be with Jesus very early Saturday morning after a long, hard-fought battle with breast cancer. She was only 44. She was part of our planning team, helped tap trees for many years, collected sap on many occassions, and assisted our boilers in making syrup. Thank you for your service, my dear friend and sister. You are greatly missed.

The 2022 festival is coming up fast! The special pre-registration package (includes one admission, one meal in the dining hall, and one event patch) is only available online and closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, February 27. Don't want to pre-register? You can still come enjoy the festival. Admission at the front gate is $15, one meal in the dining hall is $5, and an event patch is $3.

Many thanks to the festival crew and DACC students who are braving the rain to collect sap today. Almost 400 gallons collected so far and there are more areas to collect this afternoon.
