Everything in life has a season and my 13 years of being a PaperPie book lady are closing. It’s been an honor to serve you and your families with these amazing learning resources.

In 2024 I was offered an opportunity with Landstar, a Fortune 500 Trucking company, to open a Qualification’s Center.

I’ll be selling a lot of Out of Print and Out of Stock books that I had left in my inventory and personal collection. For right now the sale will be in person only (DM me for our address if you are local). If I have more books leftover I’ll post them on my personal page and share here as well for anyone to purchase, products will be discounted greatly!

Friends, we need your help! We need 20 more people to donate $20 to our book drive for Whiz Kids OK - We have 100 of our 500 books sponsored so far.

Having a book can do so much good for a child, especially one who could really use it. It’s all about boosting literacy, giving parents a fun way to connect with their kids, and building up reading skills.

That’s how many books we had in our home for 2 kids who were 3 and 6 months old. FIVE. 😳

I knew reading was important. I knew I wanted a rich home library, but I wasn’t sure how to build it. I was a full time working mom in the tech industry, and a bit overwhelmed. My kids were growing up in a book desert and I wasn’t sure how to fix it.

A friend invited me to a book party and I fell in love with these books! By the end of the evening my wish list was longer than my wallet could afford! I told my husband, I can buy this $99 box of books and then get a discount on the rest of the books we need. I had no plans for that box of books to turn into the business that it did! As I grew my business I started to dream of someday being able to stay home with our children.

18 months later, we found out we were expecting our third child. She was a huge surprise! After the shock wore off and we looked at all of our options we knew this business was what we needed. My book business allowed me to quit my full time job and stay home with our toddler and new baby.

That little box of books introduced me to the best people, the best company, and made my dreams become my reality! We now have 3 bookworms who love my business as much as I do! They love having me at every field trip and school function, plus I never have to request PTO, and I love helping others find this same freedom.

The book desert we were living in, turned into a huge home library with books our kids love to read. Every year I have a teacher tell me that she can see the love of learning in my kids and that it is directly related to our families love of books.

Books Change Lives and we are so thankful that this book business changed ours. 🥹

What a wonderful weekend filled with, joy, kindness, and possibility. The 2024 Out of the Box Convention was lovely. We started the weekend with shopping in the bargain bookstore (65% off everything) and shopping all the cute branded items! Meeting our authors and illustrators is always a treat. This year we spent time with learning all about their books, it was such a treat!

A fun visit from my family as they were in Tulsa at the Mecum Auto Auction for my dad’s birthday! They loved seeing what convention was like and they also were able to meet the Authors!

I always treasure these 4 days with friends from all over the country that I talk to daily but only see a 1-2 times a year! We love working together and putting books into kids hands. “A story is never finished until it’s in a child’s hands” -

We also heard from ans about the importance of early literacy and how we can spread hope with books. Our country needs hope. Our kids need hope and as parents we have all the tools we need to give them that hope!
