Deerfield Music & Art Festival Set in one of the most recognized communities in Plano, the NEW Deerfield Music & Arts Festival is a FREE family event for all ages.

Come bring the kids, a picnic blanket/folding chairs and your favorite beverage and enjoy the live music & art on display! THE DEERFIELD MUSIC AND ART FESTIVAL is a FREE concert event for families, Sponsored by Steinway Hall of Plano, held each Spring under the outdoor pavilion in the park at the center of the Deerfield community in Plano, TX. SATURDAY, MAY 7TH, 2016 FROM 6-10PM

FEATURING Strings & Brass members of the Plano Symphony Orchestra (PSO), in a four-hour outdoor concert, along with amazing Broadway and Jazz performers. A FREE wine tasting is offered and food will be available for purchase. Guests are welcomed to bring a picnic basket and their favorite beverage, along with a blanket or folding chair and enjoy the music and art on display in a fun and social atmosphere for families. Activities for children will be provided, such as face painting, arts and crafts, and the Plano Symphony Orchestra's Instrument Petting Zoo! Bringing more music to Plano...cellist & founder of the Deerfield Festival, Oliver Schlaffer, started this event in 2013, after realizing that fewer and fewer young people were attending the many performance hall concerts that he participated in. With the help of the Deerfield HOA Board and the community, the Deerfield Music & Art Festival was born, with the intent to bring concerts out to the community where they live, and make quality music accessible for families and children of all ages.
