We are looking forward to resuming our cycling sessions with our young athletes tomorrow. This will be the first session without our beloved Zahra Abbas, and we know this may bring many emotions and anxiety. We will have extra volunteers joining us tomorrow, and will also have a social worker on site to help support families as well. She left behind a void that can’t be filled, but we know she would want us to continue providing our kiddos with these amazing life experiences. With that in mind, we will be there with our smiles to welcome you, and your star athletes. Rip Zahra 🙏

It is with great sadness that we are informing all of our beloved supporters, families and friends of the passing of Zahra Abbas. Zahra has been committed to PIPERS since day one as the Assistant Coordinator, and then most recently as our Coordinator. Under her leadership this program has thrived, and made a difference in the lives of many children. Zahra worked selflessly, and passionately for others. This is a great, and shocking loss for us all. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. You will be greatly missed Zahra. Rip

*Our 2nd summer event for 2022*
You asked, and we listened! We put together an event
only for young adults! We know how challenging it
can be to get your teen+ out to socialize, make
friends, engage in everyday life skills etc.
We are super excited, and thankful to be partnering
up with .alkabob to bring a night full of
delicious food, and adult games. BHU will have a
customized menu provided for all participants with
visuals, and support. We will also be providing each
individual with a wallet full of $$ to encourage
independently ordering, and paying for their dinner.
After dinner we will enjoy some jumbo games
together such as Jenga, connect4, UNO and much
more!
SPOTS ARE LIMITED***Please register asap.
P.S. parents/caregivers you're not welcome to stay
😎Enjoy the downtown area, drink coffee, go for a
walk. stay close but not too close😉

"Bitty & Beau's Coffee, a national coffee franchise that employs people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will open its doors in Ann Arbor this summer.

Still under construction, Bitty & Beau’s Coffee will be located at 305 S. Main Street in Ann Arbor.

July 9, Bitty & Beau's Coffee will host a job fair for multiple positions, including cashiers, greeters, cashiers and part-time shift supervisors ahead of its Ann Arbor debut. The job fair will be held at the Kuenzel Ballroom in the Michigan Union."
