Breaking news! Our first Saturday market of the 2026 season will take place on June 13 (from 9am-1pm) at the Danville Public Library!
If you would like to be a vendor at The Berry Cool Market, all pertinent info is below!
In 2023, The Berry Cool Market was voted the Best Community Event in Vermilion County … and we plan to continue living up to this honor again in 2026!
Along with our friendly, familial environment, The Berry Cool Market will feature live music by the area's top musicians and other demonstrations, activities, and family friendly events throughout the season.
Not doing our market yet? Why not? The Berry Cool Market is free for vendors! No applications. No sign-up fees. No weekly fees. No advance commitments. No drama. If you grew it or created it or baked it, you can show up and sell it! And we're in a park (not a parking lot). Just show up, set up and have fun!
Details (and some new rules):
―Starting on June 13, 2026, The Berry Cool Market will take place every Saturday from 9am-1pm at the Danville Public Library. Our end date (sometime in October) will be determined in relation to weather.
―Depending on various factors, our monthly First Friday markets will either be at the Danville Public Library or at the Fischer Theatre.
―While set up for vendors is FREE, we do ask that vendors comply with a few rules...
―For Saturday markets at the DPL, please do not show up before 8am to set up; set up will begin on or around 8am when market staff arrives to designate spots. Vendors can park on the South side of the parking lot and overflow in the Southeast parking lot. Vendors will set up their booth in the park area. Vendors will supply their own tables, chairs and tents.
―Vendors should be courteous and respectful towards your fellow vendors and those running the market … be it in-person or via e-mail.
―Vendors should only sell food, soaps, jewelry, baked goods, art, books, or other items that they have made or baked or created or grown themselves. We do not allow reselling items purchased elsewhere or direct sale vendors reselling corporate products (ie: make-up, oils, candles etc).
―If you have sold baked goods or produce or fresh eggs at other markets, we presume that you should be familiar with and are complying with state and county food laws and regulations. You must be certified to sell baked goods. You also must be licensed to sell fresh eggs. If you need information re: selling baked goods or fresh eggs, please contact the Vermilion County Health Department at 217-431-2662.
―If you have any questions about The Berry Cool Market or you would like to join our vendor family, please contact Albert King at [email protected] or 217-799-3970.
