With heavy hearts, we’re writing to let you know that Trinity River Run will be ceasing operations as of June 15, 2021.

We understand how many of you were looking forward to this year’s event—we were, too. Since 2015, we’ve truly become a family, and we are so grateful to all of you for your support over the years. Unfortunately, COVID-19, and the disruption the pandemic caused to events like ours, was simply too much to overcome. We even explored other avenues to allow Trinity River Run to continue, but it just didn’t work out.

We want to take this opportunity to offer a heartfelt thank you: to the race crew for persevering despite impossible obstacles, to our sponsors, vendors, pacers from Craig Ranch Running Club and volunteers, including LULAC and Garland High School Key Club, and to the runners, without whom this event—this special moment in our lives—wouldn’t have happened. Thank you to our fans for your loyalty and ongoing support. We’re honored to have been a part of your running journey.

Train hard, stay safe, and have fun.

The half marathon was to start now at 4pm today. We'd like to remember all of the volunteers that have helped us over the years. Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers, 90 Dallas Police officers, Lulac 1137 and Craig Ranch Running Club. It takes a tremendous amount of community effort and Trinity River Run would not be possible without you. See y'all next year!

Well, butter me up and call me a biscuit. Today marks the 6th annual Trinity River Run. Congrats to all who have already laced up and conquered their race. We’ll be rooting for those who are still tackling their miles. While we have gone virtual this year, it’s been inspiring and heart-warming to read y’alls emails. Thank you for sharing your stories and photos. We’re proud of each and every single one of you. It’s been an incredible journey in 2020. Stay safe. Stay healthy. We’ll see y’all next year!
