Join us at the Nasher Sculpture Center on Thursday, May 3 for the 15th Annual Rising Stars Chefs' Dinner. The chefs had a lot of fun pairing their dishes with Australian wines at the contest today. Here are the winners:
1st place White WIne: Ray Skradzinski, Executive Sous Chef, Five-Sixty by Wolfgang Puck: Pan Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Trio of Cauliflower, Black Pepper Blood Orange Sauce, Marjoram
2nd place White Wine: John Cox, Line Cook II, Hyatt Regency Dallas: Pan Seared Halibut, Venison Sausage, English Pea, Roasted Poblano Fricassee with Buerre Blanc
1st place Red Wine: Oliver Sitrin, Sous Chef, Marquee Grill: Steak Moutarde with Parsnips and Brussels Sprouts
2nd place Red Wine: Heather Dorris, Sous Chef, Bolla: Pan Roasted Boneless Lamb Rack, Yellow Curry Puree, Sweet Apple Relish, Spinach Beech Mushrooms, Sweet Red Pearl Onions, Kaffir Lime-Coconut Sauce

The Nasher Sculpture Center’s garden and ponds have become the temporary home for a family of ducks and their twelve chicks. The ducks will enjoy the tranquility of the garden until we find a more permanent home that is safer and more comfortable.
