Clean out your closet for a good cause!

The Brick House Exchange is hosting a clothes drive for Christian Women's Job Corps. CWJC-GP is a local non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide a Christian context in which women in need are equipped for life and employment; and a missions context in which women help women.

We believe so much in what they do that we want to support them by hosting this clothes drive so they may outfit their students for success.

Help us help them help our community by donating professional and business casual clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Contact Maria Gamez @ (972) 971-2320 | [email protected] to make a donation.

Did you know the cerebral cortex isn’t fully formed until about age 25? That’s the decision making part of the brain.

We tend to think our youth should be self reliant and fully capable once they become of age and by that I mean the age that our government deems then legal adults.

Too many young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 are making the most difficult and life altering decisions on their own. They have been told they are adults now and fully capable. It’s a demographic I’d like to call attention to during this time of adversity.

We encourage you to see the current situation through the eyes of a young person making decisions based on emotions vs rationale. The cerebral cortex is the rational part of the brain. That’s the part of the brain mature adults use to make sound logical decisions.

Our youth can benefit greatly from our maturity and wisdom.

We encourage you to reach out and be a mentor to our young adults. Share your wisdom and guidance. Offer to witness to them so that they may understand through your experiences.

At The Brick House Exchange we focus on bringing people together and sharing our skills and talents and we want to lift you up like so many have done for us.
