About the Exhibition:

Revelator is a collection of paintings that unveils a consciousness-altering symbol intended to reconcile the schism in the collective psyche. This emblem—a beacon of inner transformation—tears away the illusion of separation, illuminating the unity that underlies the many. It calls us beyond the dualistic subject/object paradigm of the human mind, urging a shift toward inner coherence. Reflecting the reciprocal nature of reality, the symbol reveals how our inner world continuously shapes the outer, blurring the boundary between the higher forces that rise from within and those that descend from above.

Matthew Derham hails from the underground of Los Angeles and has been a curator behind the decks since 2000. Cofounder of MusicSavages. What started as a DJ collective, morphed into a Burning Man camp, a vibe, a way of life. He brought a bunch of weirdos together, connected by an auditory vein of tasteful music and a love not taking each other too seriously.

His mixing style spans across wide genres and can best be described as slow, dark and sleazy. It harnesses the groovy side of minimal and the sexy side of tech house with fluid, moving bass lines and soul from all angles. Matthew is a new transplant to Denver and is looking forward to sharing his love of dance music with the mountain community.

Born from the underground scene of early 2000s Iran, Shamiran began her DJ journey spinning at hidden gatherings where music was both rebellion and freedom. Her path later took her through Turkey and Thailand before landing in the U.S., where she’s been lighting up festivals and events across the country. Known for her melodic, desert-inspired grooves, Shamiran weaves sound into story guiding her audience through deep, emotional, and transformative journeys on the dance floor. 💃

Masahiko is an electronic music artist shaped by rhythm, movement, and the elements. Raised in the Colorado mountains, he learned to dance with gravity as a professional snowboarder before finding new ways to ride energy through sound and color. His deep, melodic, and psychedelic techno reflects the same flow he chases on the slopes and in his paintings, expansive, emotional, and alive. Rooted in Denver, with ancestry stretching to Tokyo through his father, Masahiko’s work exists where the physical meets the ethereal. A meditation in motion, a journey through sound, space, and self.

You might not expect an artist as humble as Aaron Bordas to have converted so many to house music. Acclaimed by the old school and new school alike, the Denver DJ and producer has forged his own path by exploring the dark side of enlightenment.

With every selection, Bordas strikes a seemingly impossible balance between taste and dance floor appeal. Away from the decks, he carries himself with the casual poise of a hometown hero. He also channels his progressive take on tech house into original singles and remixes that he premieres in each edition of a monthly radio show he calls Reason.

An original in every sense, Bordas has developed a style not easily dissected. He executes shorter transitions than those typical to house sets while keeping each as crisp as possible, and his keen ear for phrasing equips him to tell more nuanced stories. Forever a student of music, he possesses a drive to constantly improve that will always keep him timeless as a DJ.

With the city behind him, Aaron Bordas is already one of Denver’s most beloved success stories. Follow him to see how the next chapter unfolds.
